Our Success Stories |

Logan Logan was born with Cerebral Palsy. He has been riding with ROH for 5 years where we have watched him do amazing things. Below is an excerpt from a letter written by Logan’s mom about his progress.
“Logan has been riding with REINS OF HOPE since March of 2003. When he first started riding his body was like a rag doll unable to control his trunk muscles. He wobbled to and fro on top of Sunny Pony. However, by summer of that year, he could sit on a step independently for the first time.” The strength in his back muscles have grown significantly, which has helped him to transition from the use of a walker to walking independently.” But by far, the greatest advantage for Logan that has come from riding during riding...is that he has been Botox free. He had been receiving 8 shots, regularly, for his adductors… I credit this to Logan’s riding on a regular basis, which provides him with a consistent, but significant stretch to his adductors.
We will be forever indebted to REINS OF HOPE, their volunteers, and horses for what they have given Logan. Not only a love for horses, but a new outlook on life and what he may accomplish.
Sincerely, Logan’s Mom |

Allie was born with a disability that caused impaired hearing, language, & motor delays.
“Allie is in her second year of riding. Allie has shown remarkable progress with her motor development and coordination skills. Allie's confidence level has also increased due to her participation with the Reins of Hope program. Overall, the Reins of Hope riding program has helped Allie with the development of her motor, speech, and social skills. We greatly appreciate all the commitment and dedication the staff and volunteers show to all the participants and their families involved with the Reins of Hope Program.” Sincerely, Allie’s Mom |
